Foundations
of Mathematics - This pathway is designed to provide students with the
mathematical understandings and critical-thinking skills identified for
post-secondary studies in programs that do not require the study of
theoretical calculus.
This is the right course for you if you’re thinking about
going to college or university, but aren’t interested in a math or
science-based program. You need to look
into the program that you’re interested in and be sure that this is the correct
pathway for you.
Course Materials:
All students are required to have the following
items every day:

Binder
with paper or coil notebook with > 100 pg

Scientific
Calculator
o
A graphing calculator is helpful
in one of the eight units, but not necessary.
o
Please do not spend the money
for a graphing calculator!
